Summer Camp Counselor

YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties is looking to hire Summer Camp Counselors at all levels!

Summer Camp Counselor Salary: $15.13 - $17.50 per hour

Summer Camp Counselor Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. Full or Part Time available

Summer Camp Counselor Responsibilities:

• Safely supervise children through daily activities
• Positively engage and interact with campers through focus areas
• Reinforce positive behaviors, teach proper sportsmanship and bring enthusiasm to every camp day
• Support the lesson plans/camp objectives and ensure a safe environment for campers
• Acknowledge different learning styles and meet the needs of each camper.
• Develop strong relationships with children, parents and families through communication and actions

Summer Camp Counselor Qualifications:

• 15 years of age or older
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness and desire to work with children
• 1+ years of experience in the space (preferred)
